This time on The Vat we have Jem who we play higher or lower cards with, though she has no control of her fate. If its a higher than the previous card then Jem is lifted up on the swing above the The Vat of treacle, if it’s lower than the previous card Jem is dipped into The Vat gradually each turn until she’s reached her head where treacle is poured onto her clean head and hair.
